Flairlight’s full lighting design service includes the following stages:
Following your initial contact with Flairlight you will be allocated one of our Lighting Designers, each designer follows your project through from design to completion to provide a seamless design with the best service that we can offer.
2) PDF drawings
We will require a PDF (electronic format) project drawing for all floors, these can be emailed to us at email@example.com
3) Fee proposal
Once the drawings have been received project reference number is issued together with a fee proposal detailing the processes and a detailed estimate of what is included within the fee and any additional fees / charges which may be applicable during the course of the design.
4) Acceptance and instruction to proceed
Once a written instruction has been received we will make a mutually convenient appointment to meet with you to discuss your requirements.
5) Initial consultation & design brief
During this paramount and critical meeting we will require a few hours to run through your plans and absorb as much information as physically possible to ensure that we include all those personal touches that will add excitement and back bone to the design.
At the close of the meeting we will agree a time whereby we will be in a position to present our initial design concepts.
6) Design presentation
Following emails and telephone discussions as required we will meet with you and present digital copies of your project with accompanying pictures, 3D designs as necessary and previous project pictures if required to ensure that you have a clear and precise understanding of how each area will look when the products have been installed.
These are sometimes unavoidable throughout the project and we therefore include 1 alteration within the fee proposal cost.
8) Lighting design presentation
Following the initial design presentation we will provide all documentation including;
a) Autocad drawings with PDF copies.
b) Drawing Issue Sheet – to track drawing issues for future alterations etc.
c) Luminaire Schedule – Images and specification for all luminous flux outputs of products required achieving the finished lighting design.
d) Product data sheets – Data sheets detailing technical information, dimming min – maximum loads, wiring lengths and volt drops, additional equipment required.
e) Estimate for supply – Flairlight provide an estimate for the supply of lighting products to ensure that the finished design is achieved.
9) Product supply
Our technical expertise is second to none and we take great care and pride with the quality, performance and longevity of life with the products offered.
a) All products are tested and pass our stringent quality control systems.
b) All LED products are tested to guarantee Lumen outputs and consumed power, therefore providing an efficacy warranty.
10) On-site support
Flairlight’s Customer Services Department, not only undertake on-site support to installing electricians with product advice and cabling assistance, but are always available in the unlikely event of product breakdown or failure.
a) All projects undertaken by our company are local, therefore a member of our team is always close at hand to offer assistance when required.
11) In-house programming & commissioning of mood lighting systems
Unlike our competitor’s Flairlight Customer Services team programme and commission our own projects in-house, this service seamlessly completes the jigsaw as projects are completed with infinite detail to deliver the initial concept. Your allocated designer links with their colleague to ensure the project works as designed.
Flairlight products are supplied with a 5-year warranty unless stated otherwise, your assurance of quality.
